| The Fencing & Landscaping News has joined ranks with the APF International Forestry Machinery Exhibition to create a Fencing News Village designed especially to suit both the biggest names in the industry and those who are looking for a larger slice of the market. With around 20,000 bodies expected through the doors, what better way to get your company’s products seen? Although the Fencing News Village is ‘new build’ for the 2008 event, the APF International Forestry Machinery Exhibition is already well established as the largest exhibition and display of forestry, woodland, arboriculture, utilities and estate management machinery, equipment, supplies and services in the UK. The event arrives biennially around mid-September and has something of interest for both the forestry sector and the general public. The APF International Forestry Machinery Exhibition is a rare opportunity for the public to learn about what goes on to look after Britain’s 2.74 million hectares (6.76 million acres) of woods and forests and provide benefits such as sustainable timber supplies, places for the public to enjoy, and wildlife conservation. It features a wide range of displays and activities, including pole climbing, lorry loading and wood turning competitions, as well as chainsaw carving, horse logging and mountain biking displays. There is a wide variety of arena events, competitions and displays, many of which cannot be seen anywhere else and it is a fantastic opportunity to compare rival machines in a realistic working environment. The event will be held over the dates Wednesday the 18th to Friday the 20th September 2008 and there are currently thirty exhibitor stands available through the Fencing and Landscaping News. The Fencing News Village within the exhibition will involve a wide range of companies, all there to demonstrate their various products in a warm and inviting environment. Inside the Village we expect around thirty-five exhibitors with a size of 3x3m at £850, in the same vein as APF tradition. On announcing the new exhibition, Simone Gallon, Editor of The Fencing & Landscaping News said: “we anticipate a huge crowd and can safely guarantee that over 20,000 people will be passing through the gates over the three day period – that way, everyone will get the chance to meet with some familiar faces as well as generate some new leads.” Simone continues, “During the event, we will also be holding our second UK Fencing Championships, where once again we will be throwing down the gauntlet to fencing contractors nationwide, in a competition designed to put the best fence erectors to the test. Following the success of the first, we predict another good turnout and if this year’s competition is anything to go by, then we can expect a lovely day with everyone in good spirits. The fencing will be put up with power tools only, an alteration on last years competition rules. Information on how to enter and competition guidelines will be released in due course All enquiries must come through the Fencing & Landscaping News, so for more information call 01274 610101 or email simone.gallon@btconnect.com We’ll look forward to seeing you there! |

Showtime is coming and we have a new exhibition planned that is guaranteed to be the biggest thing on your 2008 wall planner.
