The company, which manufactures high quality maintenance free plastic fencing, is so busy dealing with its customer’s requests that it now needs to contract out its installation work to cope with demand. “We have pioneered a scheme, where we approve contractors throughout the UK to go out and install our products.” explains Jeremy Knight, Operations Manager at Duralock, “This means that customers can enjoy the same quality of service, while we as a company are now left to concentrate on our products. The demand is simply getting to stage where we need to have these highly trained contractors to ensure our high quality of customer service.” The scheme means that the contractors themselves will have access to the full Duralock range and will also receive back up for approved advertising from the company as well. “The contractors themselves will have the full support of the company, with great access to all of Duralock’s resources, help with local advertisements and also improved support with delivery costs.” said Jeremy “They will also receive comprehensive training, to make sure they know exactly what standards that Duralock adheres to and so they are fully prepared for the challenge in hand.” Jeremy has only recently been appointed to his role, back in October 2007, and is taking the bull by the horns, restructuring the companies approach to promotion. “We have got a lot of great ideas here at Duralock and are hoping to have a much bigger budget for promotion this year. We usually advertise through various trade magazines, including Fencing and Landscaping News and also equestrian magazines as well. We also have a great website which can provide clients with all the information they could ever need.” The company, which has been trading since the 1990’s, now has its head office in Oxfordshire, its manufacturing base in Cornwall and has even gone continental with an office in France. “Who ever installs Duralock products, our customers can always be assured that once installed, the fencing will never peel, crack or require painting, totally maintenance free. Not many fencing companies can boast that about their product.” smiles Jeremy. Duralock’s contracts range from a small garden picket fence to world famous racecourses in the UK, such as Royal Ascot and Aintree (pictured on the front page), where the company supply race rails, jump wings and mobile and crowd barriers for the courses. These race course barriers are unique as they do not require any metal fixings, nuts or bolts and are designed to be left in place permanently, but can be dismantled quickly if required.Duralock, a truly international company, also supply their fencing systems to many racecourses as far a field as the US, Dubai, Qatar, Oman and Far East with Japan, Korea as well as the Philippines. It seems that wherever its customers are, Duralock is furlongs ahead of the competition. If you would like to contact Duralock call 01752 840444 or visit the website at www.duralock.co.uk |
